My Answer: Definitely not. When I listen to music I listen to the lyrics so it is very distracting. I love music and reading, but I have never put them together.

Hi, just hopping by! I'm also one of the many who can't concentrate on reading with music playing :)
I agree that while reading listening to music with lyrics can be distracting, but I do like to listen to instrumental music, it actually helps me focus and get into my story- I know I am kinda strange lol but aren't we all at some time or another!!

I hope I haven't hyped it up too much but Tyger, Tyger far surpassed what I was expecting. I think the people writing the intros or the book jackets are doing a poor job of it. I read it as an e-book even though it kills my eyes and gives me migraines. It was worth it!

I do not listen to music while reading, because I get caught up in the lyrics too. However, I do "watch" television while reading. Not sure how that is any different, but since I have an addiction to books and TV, I kind of have to :)
