Review Policy

Hello, this is where you will find exactly how my reviews work.

Review Policy:
First of all, thank you for the interest in having me review your book! Reading is my favorite thing and I'm more than happy to accept books for review, do contests, interviews or Blog tours. Just get in touch!

Genres Reviewed:
  • Young Adult
  • New Adult
  • Women's Lit (with crossover appeal)
  • Middle Grade (the more fantasy the better!)
My favorite Genre's include: Fantasy, Paranormal, Contemporary Fiction, Romance, Historical Fiction - anything including the word "Tudor" makes me giddy and anything else involving crossover appeal.

I have a love of fantasy of every kind - give me a knight wielding an epic sword any day.

I am also very interested in mental health issues and love reading darker stories battling serious issues.

Children's books: I love stories with animals, talking or not. I enjoy epic adventures and stories that can be told through pictures rather than words. However, I pretty much find all Children's books adorable.

Reviews:
When I accept a book for review I try to post that review within the month that book is released, ideally before. If there is a particular time you would like to see the review let me know and I will work around your schedule.

While I only accept books I think I will enjoy I don't promise I will like it. I always give a fair review and go over what I liked, and what I didn't. I will never bash your work or product as I know that just because something wasn't my cup of tea doesn't mean someone else won't love it and I refuse to take away a chance for that reader.

I will try my hardest to post the review in a timely manner but I don't guarantee a review for every book I accept. If I can't get into the book after 100 pages, I will not continue it. In cases such as these I may post a DNF (Did Not Finish) review stating how I felt, though this is not a review that is bashing a title. In instances such as these I will express what did not work for me, but while something does not work for me, it may still work for one of my readers.

I will not post a DNF review for every title I do not finish. DNF reviews are reserved for books that lost me somewhere in the middle. If I I only read 10% of a title it is not fair to post a review because I, as a reader, have not experienced enough of that title.

I always post my reviews on this blog, Twitter, Facebook and Goodreads. I will also post to Amazon if it is desired.
