Book Blogger Hop & Follow Friday!!

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jennifer at Crazy-for-Books!

This Week's Question:
How do you feel about losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?

My Answer:
Losing followers leaves me paranoid. I always wonder what I have done wrong and I begin to really hope it was a Blogger mistake, but it is what it is. I myself have never unfollowed a blog because if I'm following you, that means there was something about your blog I liked. I'm not a big fan of seeing my numbers drop, but thankfully it doesn't happen that often.

This Week's Question:
Who are your favorite authors?

My Answer:
I have a ton. Sarah Dessen, John Green, Stephenie Meyer, Richelle Mead, Jennifer Echols and the list goes on, and on, and on...

Hopping through. Old follower. Like you, I hate seeing my numbers drop. I assume it's just someone going through a regular purge and it's not personal, but it does make me a little sad.

You expressed my feelings precisely. It's weird trying to pinpoint what you might have done (!) and impossible. But like you, I always wonder. I never stop following if a blog has a small number of followers--that's probably weird!

I'm always a little bummed when I lose followers but make every effort to
turn every lost follower into a learning experience so I can improve my
performance.

On the flip side, I only stop following people when they give me a reason to
such as being totally off message or being too controversial in an negative,
over-the-top way.

Happy Book Blogger Hop Friday!

I don't pay a lot of attention to my follower numbers, so I haven't ever noticed a drop, but I would only be worried if a LOT of people stopped following all at once!

Hi! Stopping by via Follow Friday :)

I haven't lost any followers (that I've noticed) so far. But I'm fairly new to book blogging, so I'm sure that will happen in the future. Generally, though, I don't unfollow. I mean, I follow blogs because I like them in the first place, and I like to stop by and comment occasionally on everything. I will unfollow if someone totally changes their focus, though (like if book blogger starts constantly posting about fashion, for instance).

And I love your list of favourite authors! John Green is in mine, too and I'm kind of kicking myself for not including Sarah Dessen. Looove her work :)

I'm a new follower, hope you can find the time to stop by my blog.

I read a couple of John Green books recently and he is just amazing. I love his characters so much.
