Stacking the Shelves/IMM

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

This week was possibly the greatest book week I have ever experienced.

So many wonderful YA titles and Kid lit titles that I don't know what to do with myself!

The Run Down: Young Adult Titles

Say What You Will by Cammie McGovern

The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings

Vivian Divine is Dead by Lauren Sabel

17 First Kisses by Rachael Allen

PUSH by Eve Silver

Fan Art by Sarah Tregay

The Run Down: Kid Lit Titles

Seven Wonders: The Tomb of Shadows by Peter Lerangis

Seven Wonders Journals: The Select + The Orphan by Peter Lerangis

Stick Dog Wants a Hot Dog by Tom Watson

Big Nate: Mr Popularity by Lincoln Peirce

Nancy Clancy: Secret of the Silver Key by Kane O'Connor

Alien in my Pocket by Nate Ball

The Hero's Guide to Being an Outlaw by Christopher Healy

Saving Lucas Biggs by Marisa de los Santos and David Teague

The Luck Uglies by Paul Durham

Dreamer, Wisher, Liar by Charlies Mericle Harper

The Run Down: Adult Titles

And She Was by Alison Gaylin

Into the Dark by Alison Gaylin

So, that was epic.

This week has been a fantastic week reading wise and blogging wise. I am offically over the pneumonia (hopefully) and it looks like I will have completed four books over the week which I can accept.

Also, don't forget to check out my post on Feminism from my College Graduation! It's not what you think.

In case you missed it, here is my review for Fool Me Twice by Mandy Hubbard.

Here is a picture of my cat, Loretta, because she's adorable.

In My Mailbox/Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews!

I am so used to doing this post on Sundays, and it appears that the rest of the blog world has grown accustomed to doing them on Saturday... taking a break from blogging makes for a struggle.

Anyway, the above books are the titles that I got in physical form this past week. They were all discounted so I think the most expensive one was Scarlett for... $7? Wonderful, wonderful deal.

From the Library: (Audiobooks)

The review for The Giver has already been posted. It can be found here.

What did you get this week?

In My Mailbox!

After reading the first one, there should be no surprise that these two would shortly follow! I emjoyed Divergent, not sure if it will become a favorite yet, but I can't wait to dive back into the world.

I saw the movie yesterday and I feel like it "fixed" some of the problems that I had. I encourage you all to see it because it was a blast! I was surprised because there has been a YA book to movie curse almost since The Hunger Games took off, but I think this adaption is beating the odds.

What did you guys get in your mailbox this week?!

This week I got...

I wasn't able to do an In My Mailbox last week so this is for the last two weeks. I'm excited to read everything, though sadly I have finals coming up. :(

Who else is going to go buy their copy of Last Sacrifice at midnight tomorrow?! There are few things I will risk school for but I NEED THAT BOOK. I'm so excited and I don't even care that I will be a creeper going in to get it, they're not even having a release party. *sigh*

Team Dimitri! I'm crossing my fingers. :)

What I Wish Was In My Mailbox!

Since this week I didn't get any books I am going to do something a bit different. Rather than the what I got post, this will be the what I wish I got post.

In other words, these are the books that would make me do a happy dance in my driveway if I got them.

I don't think words can describe how much I want need this book. It's kind of ridiculous really and I'm sorry to those who have heard me talk about my want in person. I can get nerdy when talking about Angelfire.

I'm a huge space fan meaning that Star Wars/Star Trek really make me happy. I'm actually wearing my Star Trek shirt right now so a YA set in space? Yes, Please!

I really think this may be the most gorgeous cover I have ever seen and the story sounds super interesting as well. Can't wait for this one!

I LOVE SARAH DESSEN! Sorry for the caps, but I feel they were necessary. Her books really got me into YA and I'm so excited for her newest one I don't know what to do. Her release dates always feel like another holiday to me.

Quick question: Do I have to read Inside the Mind of Gideon Rayburn before I read The Other Girl? I'm thinking I do, but if anyone knows it it would work okay as a stand alone let me know!

Super huge thanks to Bloomsbury, St, Martin's Press and Estevan Vega!

So, this week I was a little late posting this simply because everything I got, I got today.

It was a Hunger Games week.

I swear I have the worst internet connection on the planet. It took two hours of me connecting and disconnecting for me to post this. Most. Annoying. Thing. Ever. :(

Psssst, if you look real close you can see the bottom of my Dumbledore's Army poster!

So, what did you get this week?

*Oooh I meant to say this, I knew I would get asked, but the Hunger Games poster came from Hot Topic, and it was free! You go to their facebook and take a 4 question quiz and then just print out the coupon... of course I forgot my coupon... and my Hot Topic gave it to me anyway, but that's a story for another day. :)

It's so pretty! I absolutely loved the first in the series, The Body Finder, and this book is one of the ones I have been most looking forward to!

I technically got it last week, but I didn't actually open it until this week... so I believe it counts.

In My Mailbox - Week of September 5th

In My Mailbox

So you guys remember how I said I had scheduled posts right? Well, while I was in Decatur I realized something.

They're not scheduled if you don't press publish. *palm to forehead*

Sorry about that, but in my defense I was packing and rechecking books to make sure I had all of them and I was quite giddy with excitement. So here is my In My Mailbox for this week, though I won't be including any books I purchased at the festival.

This one came as a total surprise as I have never heard of it, and it's a Middle Grade second in a series, but the first line made me laugh and that's always a good sign right?

What did you guys get this week?

I'm posting my Decatur post tomorrow, and I'll go ahead and say the trip was amazing!
